Cathy Holt is a driven Women’s Leadership Strategist, international speaker, bestselling author, and host and executive producer of the television show Holt Talks the Lead. For more than 40 years she has worked with accomplished women ready to translate capability into recognized authority.
Growing up in a time when girls were told to dream small, Cathy’s potential was routinely minimized even as a top student at Stanford. Her experience pushed her to graduate early and step into a world where she could create her own possibilities. She advanced rapidly into leadership positions across multiple industries and roles
Through all her experiences like opening a business while living in Brazil, restructuring global organizations, or speaking and advocating for women at international UN meetings, she has learned how influence and power are earned, strengthened, and sustained.
While managing campaigns, advocating for women’s policies, and writing legislation in high-stakes, male-dominated power structures, she learned how to claim influence when decisions are contested and authority isn’t granted.
And, as a professor of Women and Gender Studies she motivated students to embrace access to opportunities for all and differences that unite rather than divide.
Her capacity to transform lives can be seen in her work for the government of Maldives during their first democratic multi-candidate election. Sharing her expertise, she led a local team in creating a voter education program that empowered women to vote and equipped the team to continue administering the program independently.
Cathy is the author of Unstoppable Women: Owning Our Voices and Leading Change. Her book launched at an Oscars gifting lounge while her chapter on resilience after divorce and her daughter’s stroke was promoted on a Times Square billboard.
Cathy's goal when working with women is that their ideas don't just get heard; they move people to shape what happens next. Women become an authority, not an option.
